WORKING OF KUNDALINI

At the foetal stage, Kundalini descends from anterior fontanel (centre of the head) to the base of the spine, which leads to the formation of following chakras -

• Sahastrara
• Agnya
• Vishuddhi
• Heart/Anahat
• Nabhi
• Swadhisthan
• Mooladhara

After descending, Kundalini lies above Mooladhara.

The aim of Kundalini is now to ascend back to Sahastrara.

Now the question arises how does this process take place?

Earlier(In Satyug, Treatayug, Dwaparyug and Early Kalyug) this process was very difficult. All the Saints, Gurus and Spiritual Leaders meditated for years and years to bring their Kundalini back to Sahastrara.

But Now this process is Quite Simple, we just need to have *PURE DESIRE* of raise of Kundalini within us.

Normally all the chakras are present in us in an inactive form.

These chakras are ONLY activated when Kundalini passes through them.

The main work of Kundalini is to activate the chakras, provide nourishment to chakras and to its related organs. It also enhances the qualities of chakras within us.

For example, Swadhistana Chakra

It controls the following organs:-

• Liver
• Kidney
• Spleen
• Pancreas and
• Female Reproductive System.

The qualities of Swadhistana Chakra are:-

• Creativity
• Spiritual Knowledge
• Undistracted Attention
• Idea Generation
• Keen Intellectual Perception
• Pure Knowledge and
• Inspiration

So, when the Kundalini rises up to this chakra, all its related organs are taken care and all its qualities are enhanced within us.

Likewise, when the Kundalini reaches the Sahastrara, a PURE, PERMANENT and PERFECT connection is built with God Almighty.

Next question that comes to our mind is “How does this process start?”

To start this process (rise o kundalini) first of all *WE HAVE TO* establish the qualities of Mooladhara Chakra within us, as Kundalini lies above the Mooladhara Chakra, therefore, its activation is most essential. This chakra is only activated after the establishment of its qualities within us.

The qualities of Mooladhara Chakra are:-

• Innocence
• Purity
• Simplicity
• Inner Wisdom
• Dignity
• Purpose & Direction
• Harmony with nature

After the activation of Mooladhara Chakra, the Kundalini starts to raise.

This movement of Kundalini is felt by the presence of a cool breeze across the palms of hands and/or on centre of the head.
