GIST(Bhaavaarth)

Saint Tulsidasji says O, heart! Revere the benign Shri Ramachandra, who removes ‘Bhava’ the worldly sorrow or pain, ‘Bhaya’ the fear, and ‘Daruna’ the scarcity or poverty. Who has fresh lotus eyes, lotus face and lotus hands, feet like lotus and like the rising Sun. His beauty exceeds innumerable Kaamdevs (Cupids). He is like a newly formed beautiful blue cloud. The yellow robe on his body appears like delightful lighting. He is the consort of the daughter of Shri Janak (Shri Sita), the embodiment of sacredness. O, heart, sing praises of Shri Rama, a friend of the poor. He is the lord of the solar dynasty. He is the destroyer of demons and devils and their race. The descendant of Shri Raghu is the source of joy, a moon of His mother Kaushalya and He is the son of Shri Dashrath. He wears a crown on His head, pendants on His ear, and tilak (crimson mark) on His forehead. All His body is beautiful and well decorated with ornaments. His arms reach his knees. He holds a bow and an arrow. He emerged victorious in the battle with demons Khar and Dushan. Thus says Shri Tulsidasji — O Shri Rama, the charmer of Lord Shiva, Shri Shesh and saints, reside in the lotus of my heart and destroy all the evils and their associates like desires.

Shri Rama is Father-figure for us. He is very Religious, Hesitant, Compassionate. He is ideal for us. We should try to adopt His qualities.

Shri Rama was the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. Shri Rama was born on the ninth day of the Lunar(Chaitra) Month, a day celebrated across India as Ram Navami.

Shri Rama was a Devi devotee. In Lanka, before the war, He wanted to perform Devi Puja, for that He needed a Scholar, So He sent a message to Ravana for the same, immediately Ravana came and performed the puja for Shri Rama. If Shri Rama was of crooked nature, He would have killed Ravana there itself, But He is Maryada Purushottam that is why He did not do any adharma. Shri Rama & Ravana were enemies but they both together performed the Devi Puja forgetting their hostility.

In Shri Rama’s life many incidents happened like freeing Ahilya from the curse, giving salvation(moksha) to Shabri, killing of King Baali, killing Ravana etc to establish Dharma. Dharma takes birth from Him, He was the incarnation of Dharma.

Shri Rama was in complete human form. He even forgot that He is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Whatever Shri Rama did in His life was all for the betterment of mankind. He faced all the difficulties just to teach us how an Ideal King, Ideal Father, Ideal Son should be like. He walked barefoot to vibrate the land during His exile.

Shri Rama was King of Ayodhya but He lived a very simple life like that of a saint, He established the importance of a friendly king.

Shri Rama was also an Ideal Husband, He always respected Sitaji. After Sitaji left of the forest, He also sacrificed all the luxuries of the palace.

Before taking birth on this earth, Shri Rama gave an opportunity to a lower cast to write Ramayana. Saint Valmiki was a fisherman. He wrote Ramayana, this proves that Shri Rama wanted to teach us that A person who has achieved his Self-Realization is a Scholar in the real sense.

Shri Rama set boundaries for mankind and by His life, His ways, His behaviour He taught us that we should also be Maryada Purushottam (Supreme Human)

We worship Shri Rama to teach us Good Leadership Qualities, Discipline & Sense of Responsibility, Sitaji to teach us Humility, Forbearance like Mother Earth.

Right Cardiac Plexus is controlled by Shri Rama. If we lack in our responsibilities & love towards others then our Right Cardiac Plexus gets disturbed, it also gets disturbed when our fatherhood is challenged(father’s early death, bad or no relations with father) and disturbance in Right Cardiac Plexus may lead to Asthma.

At the fourth step of evolution, Shri Rama came to exhibit the ideals of behaviour for the husband and wife relationship. He further brought forth the model of how to rule and necessary social values for establishing an ideal society. He clarified the principles of benevolence for governing and formulated the social and political norms in accordance with the laws of Dharma, which would also align with the laws of evolution. By His ideal example of sacrifice and gracious boundaries by which humanity should live and be governed. These definitions guide us in seeking to recognize our spirit and also protected the protocol of the heart. We are given intelligence to protect this great source of joy and sensitivity within. Unfortunately, in our so-called advanced society, the head is mostly used in opposition to the heart. Shri Rama emphasized the concept of duty; child to the parents, parents to the children, husband to the wife and vice versa. In His reign, wisdom and age were synonymous and the elders were looked up to for guidance. This is necessary for the integration and preservation of society.
